0/7 clearA No is not always a dealbreaker, but every one is a reason to slow down.
I have seen the puppy in person, or on a live video call, together with its mother
I have the puppy's microchip number and health/vaccination paperwork
I have the breeder's source or identification number (where the state requires one)
I am paying by a traceable method (bank transfer or PayID), never gift cards or cryptocurrency
The breeder answers my questions happily and is not rushing me into a deposit
The price is in the normal range for the breed (not suspiciously cheap)
I have checked reviews and searched the breeder's name before paying anything
